In addition to the injuries and ailments listed below, we treat nearly
every foot and ankle disorder.
Bunions
A bunion is excess or misaligned bone of the "Big Toe" joint and is one
of the most common big-toe problems. In addition to causing pain, it can
change the shape of your foot. Treatments range from wearing a different
style of shoe, to shifting or remodeling the bone.
Hammer Toes
When any of the toe joints buckle, that is known as "hammer
toe." The condition can vary in severity and the number of joints
involved. We have treatments for both rigid and flexible joints
caused by hammer toes.
Nail Problems
The more common toe nail problems include: ingrown nails, thickened
nails, and black and blue nails. Any of these can cause
discomfort, and we have a variety of treatment programs for them.
Neuromatas
Neuromatas are caused by bones in the foot repeatedly rubbing together.
This can cause the outer coating of a nerve to thicken and cause pain.
Once diagnosed, there are a number of conservative and surgical treatment
options.
Ankle Sprains
A sprained ankle is painful, and without treatment can lead to permanent
damage and loss of mobility. When treated quickly, surgery is rarely
needed, however proper diagnosis of the injury is vital.
Arthritis
Arthritis can cause pain and other foot disorders. There are treatments
specifically for arthritis in the foot.
